Earth Spirit Kansas is a support network of citizen activists working to bring about sustainability in Kansas, and to raise public awareness of critical conditions in our natural environment.  Members find ways that average citizens can cooperate to change:

*  Inadequate discard management/recycling(this includes the 4R's, redesign principles and key elements of sustainability)

*  Few options for renewable energy

*  Excessive fuel and energy costs, and outmoded/poor access to mass transit

*  Lack of green products and construction choices, including passive energy design

*  The need for more trees, plants, and healthful local foods

*  Degraded water quality

* Other challenges to sustainable living now and in our future

and to draw support from our colleagues when necessary to accomplish our individual goals.

Earth Spirit Kansas plans for a multiyear growth pattern which will include other adjacent regions and states.  The coalition will plan and carry out regular working events to coordinate with other like minded groups. 

Earth Spirit Kansas will conduct annual gatherings to further equip our membership and our communities to continue nurture and stewardship of our planet and to ensure a sustainable natural world for generations to come.  Annual gatherings will include nationally prominent speakers.

Earth Spirit Kansas believes that spiritual truths and earth nuture are inseparable
